Assalamu Alaikum and welcome! I’m Mira, the heart (and hands) behind Donut Aşk Bakery. What started as a joke during Ramadan: “I should sell these halal maple bacon donuts because they SLAP!” turned into a real passion project, fueled by love for good food and the people who share it.
Donut Ask is more than just a bakery. It’s my way of creating joy, connection, and belonging through sweets that honor both my faith and my heritage. I’m an American-born Muslim who loves donuts as much as I love baklava. Part of my journey in Islam was learning how to adapt recipes to fit our halal lifestyle — and now I get to bring those creations to you.
From the classic American donut to traditional desserts like baklava and maamoul, everything here is made with aşk (deep love). Every batch reflects a story — of family, culture, and reclaiming our space in the world of treats.
